Democrats can flip the Senate seats in Georgia during the runoff in January. The deadline to register for the federal election in Georgia runoff is December 7th.
Everyone turning 18 between now and then will be able to register and vote in the runoff. Georgia, please encourage anyone who didn’t take part in the main election to get involved.
A president has a hard time getting much done if there isn’t a majority in the Senate on his side. Mitch McConnell cannot remain the majority leader if we want to accomplish much of anything in the next two years. Democrats and progressives need to stay vigilant and involved.

We need to protect the integrity of our election!
The problem is the Dems need to do a better job of explaining job of educating voters. A lot of people will embrace a progressive agenda if they did a better job of explaining how those policies will improve people’s lives.
I am proud that the people who care about others, who love change, who are against racism want new leadership. I am proud to call Biden and Harris as the new guiding light to take many of us to another moving chapter in life. But I want the news media to understand that Biden and Harris can not change the hearts of those who fill their hearts with hate. Who doesn’t want our sick to be healed, our jobless individuals and lost companies to be better, and find a pathway to a better life? There is and never will be an election to change the hearts of those who don’t and won’t see that we could have a less divided America.
But I will not spend time trying to convince those who can’t see a future or better America for all. I will continue to believe that change is here and will last past this ugly mood that brings continued evil into our communities.
Biden and Harris are the new paths, and the old guard; their days are numbered by the will of the American people, as the future continues to change.
You can not change what is in an individual’s heart if they don’t want to change. So continue on the path of what is right for the country.

Democrats don’t forget who got you there….AGAIN!!!!! It sure wasn’t White Americans!!!! So instead of pandering to the people that continues to vote against you maybe dance with those that continues to support you. Minority should be front and center in the Biden presidency.
The democrats are terrible at messaging and using the excuse that “we shouldn’t have to explain it to people” isn’t helpful. That may be true in an ideal world, but the world we live in is far from ideal. This kind of language comes off as divisive, dismissive, and extremely self- righteous. I say this as a progressive myself
If you’re a democrat who thinks it would be ok, preferable even, for the Republicans to keep hold of the senate, you are a) not a real democrat, and b) patently in favour of continued stalemate and quagmire / want Biden’s to be a lame duck term where nothing is achieved legislatively and only by executive order.
