Wednesday night 9/9/2020, I was watching Laura Ingraham’s show. In her opening monologue she compared President Trump to Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill. It made me sick. The president must have been watching the same show. The next day 9/10/2020, he compared himself to Roosevelt and Churchill concerning his role in the pandemic at his rally in Michigan. This man is ridiculous. He couldn’t have carried Roosevelt’s nor Churchill’s jock straps. Roosevelt and Churchill took responsibility. They told their people the truth. They made national plans to protect their people. They rallied the people together and told them what collective sacrifices would have to be made. The president takes no responsibility, ever. He left everything to the governors to come up with 50 different patchwork plans then he criticized the governors that he doesn’t like politically. He didn’t plan. He still doesn’t have a plan. His voice is far from a voice of calm. This is not rocket science. Wear a mask, practice distancing and do the contact tracing. All he does is sow fear, confusion and division among the people. He discourages mask wearing to the point of dividing cities. It’s obvious which communities are Trump supporters. They don’t wear masks and they mock those who do. This challenge could have been overcome long ago. Presidents get proven in crisis. President Trump has failed miserably. Our children and grandchildren shouldn’t have had to see this. I will vote for Joe Biden if he’s on his death bed on Election Day.
Does Trump really know what a panic is? Obviously not because when people heard about the virus, they “panicked”, went out and purchased water and toilet tissue, in a panic, they have purchased cleaning and disinfectant products so, how does being in a panic means that you do not tell the people the truth? People are still in a state of panic and frustration because every day they are worried if they are going to contract the virus, I’m worried. What about the people who are about to be evicted from their dwellings, those who can’t buy food for their children? That is panic Donald Trump’s.
He lied to his own supporters. He has people fighting in the street over wearing a mask. He deceived his own supporters. Trump knew this virus was deadly how evil can he be. 200,000 people dead because of his lies.
