Here are some reforms –
1. Constitutional amendment barring ANY president from granting clemency or pardons to any person in which that President is named or referenced in filed court documents as a witness or co-conspirator in any Federal or State crime.; a sitting president also cannot use his pardon powers on ANY family member nor any person who works/worked, in ANY capacity, in that President’s administration, campaigns or appointed. to serve on any committee under said administration or campaigns.
2. Constitutional amendment patterned after the 2nd amendment that says, “A citizen’s right to vote, being a fundamental and necessary part of a free nation, the right of any citizen shall not be infringed.”
3. Pass a law making the AG and the DOJ fully independent from a presidential cabinet; specially barring ANY president from ordering, influencing or recommending any action by the DOJ or AG he/she appoints.
4. Pass a law requiring that any presidential nominee release all tax returns for the previous 10 years or for all years in an elected office, whichever is greater, within 30 days of officially being nominated by any political party. If the candidate has filed as an independent candidate the he/she must release taxes no later than 30 days after filing.
The only wreckage we see is that President Trump exposed and then stop Obama and old Hillary trying to institute George Soros new world order, let’s hope enough people are on to these worthless progressive liberals and Biden doesn’t pickup where Obama left off

I always said trump would leave the country in shambles like just like his business’s. Only the foolish believe he was ever successful.
Discussing reforms in this regard is pointless. It isn’t that we didn’t have enough checks and balances in place to prevent Trump’s reign of tyranny, it is that the people entrusted with those powers abdicated their responsibility for political expediency. It doesn’t matter what laws we put on the books because it is always going to come down to who are the people in power and what will they and won’t they do and/or tolerate?

It always keeps coming back to the elephant in the room that everyone in politics and media knows about but none dare ever speak about – The American people by and large are too ignorant and/or apathetic to have a healthy democracy.
A United States version of the Nuremburg Trials would be a nice step toward reform.
