DT has demonstrated a lack for mutual respect and a lack for mutual reciprocity. He has exploited the nation’s decency to satisfy his craven need for validation. He had numerous opportunities to LEAD: pass down wisdom vs worry; work to repair inequalities vs indulging in inequality and indifference to inequality; coordinating efforts with others who share the values of dignity and civility vs surrounding himself with useful idiots who comply with only his demands and practicing compassion vs creating division. As damaged goods himself; he has damaged good people; perpetuated anxiety in the nation and given us his butt to kiss at every turn. There can be no happy ending for the high chair tyrant as long as he dodges, denies and deflects. At 74 years on this earth, he is fully aware of this reality, but cannot bring himself to radically accept his humanity. Moving forward, let us adjust our expectations accordingly.
