Like WWII, the Allies must come together and stand up for each other. The United States had never bought anything manufactured by Nazi Germany, during Hitler’s war of aggression against Europe, before the United States was drawn into World War II.
It must be natural for all countries in the free world to line up with compensation, e.g. to Germany say no to Russian gas. That we together as allies compensate Germany with gas or other energy sources.
The Russian army are drunken goons. Ukraine (with the right equipment ) will kick them out eventually buts its going to be nasty for some months. They need to get aircraft and hold air suppiroty over Russians somehow,
I hope Russia closes the gas to Germany, that should give these ideologues a dose of reality.

Germany made a cataclysmic error. A recession is the least they can do to make up for it. European security is more important than the German economy – currently, the fourth largest in the world.
No need for an embargo, just replace russian ressources with domestic ressources. Producing coal, drilling for gas and oil should be top priority in Europe now.
The greatest enabling of Putin was when NATO said it will not impose the no-fly-zone. That is the best enabling they could give that maniac. Now he just plays around and destroys as many civilians as he can. Normal Russian things against Ukrainians since the 1930s…
