‘Stomach-turning’: MAGA Riot’s Confederate Flag Rebuked by Fran Lebowitz | MSNBC Summit Series
Omg thank GOD someone finally said it out loud: the Republicans know they’re hypocrites. They know people will call them out. THEY DONT CARE.
Cable tool well drilling is extremely laborious!
Great interview. I was not aware of her. As a European, someone who goes on TV in the US and says “guns are a sign of stupidity” has my respect.
that’s right Fran, if you love what you do it’s not work.
Thank you so much for this interview!
Yes! Jobs were a dime a dozen in the 70’s! Interesting!
Who is she?
Meh…. self absorbed. Bright, but still narcissistic
Yup, the younger generations think they understand how the boomers were raised. They talk as if we were raised the same way they were and so they complain we didn’t do “more”. Wonder how today’s kids would stand up to being raised by the Silent Generation and the same restrictions that I had even after graduating high school. And “Silent” isn’t a compliment either. Big pain in the rear, if you ask me. Thankfully many laws changed by the time I turned 21 as I’m at the young end of the boomer generation. Too young to be a part of the rock and roll revolution, hippie generation or college protests. Twenty years between generations is a long time. My brother is only 8 years older than me and it was certainly different for him.
Best Interview! Love her honesty. For me anyway
Never quite understood this (supposed) fear of “losing” your status/position as just a person. The way we pursue equality and equal worth / opportunity, is not by lowering the bar for those in social positions of “privilege”, but raising the bar for others to the same level. No one’s out to get you and what you have – they only seek equal treatment and opportunity as you. There’s no subtractions in this equation.
Thank you for this interview. I have always adored her wisdom and sharp wit. Indeed, Fran made it okay to be an outspoken realist. When I was a young teenager, she saved me when I was transplanted to The South from Miami, though I’m still somewhat traumatized 50 years later.
Capacious……great word Ari. Perfect adjective for her personality and style.
Fran Lebowitz, not a sheep. Realism (truth) is always viewed negatively by the sheeple. That’s why they are sheeple!
She’s right about the Supreme Court.
Thank you Ari Melber, for this interview with a extremely fascinating woman – Fran Lebowitz.
Love her!!!!!
Direct is Not Negative
