I would like to know what I could do as a citizen to help the children at the border. I have ideas that can help with the children and also with the negative media exposure created by nefarious outlets. The problem is in the messaging. People are seeing this as a crisis when I see it as an opportunity, an opportunity to help children in need, an opportunity for people that believe in the right to life to do something concrete for the ones they claim to protect, an opportunity to sponsor one or more children or dare I say adopt. We should be sending counselors, teachers, nurses, food, clothes, coloring books, crayons, anything and I am sure that if any one puts the word out you will find plenty of volunteers. The time for bold action is now. I await your response. Thank You.
Enough of this “border crisis” BS. Stop parroting far right talking points. The real crises today are voter suppression, white supremacy, domestic terrorism, dark money in politics, far right authoritarianism. Call those things crises. You have learned nothing from the past half a decade. Shameful.

Either be okay with the children held in these plastic bubble cages together OR find a way to send them back to their home countries but everyone stop crying about it.
If you want them not to come you need to make the countries these people are fleeing more safe so they want to stay in their own country. Until you face that problem they will keep coming because their home is unsafe and it is partly Americas fault.
Take note that there was no crisis until Biden opened the border and incentivised illegal immigration by offering handouts. People trying to sneak into the country have admitted to left wing media like the Counterfeit News Network that Biden opening the border is why they are coming. Many have even been photographed wearing Biden shirts, but keep trying to push the narrative that this is Trump’s fault, leftist media.
You do realize your Republican colleagues would turn anything we do at the border into a political weapon. If we stopped all migrants from coming to our border, they would start a campaign asking why there are no migrants. What has the Biden administration done to them?
What can be done to help the countries where these people come from improve their conditions so there isn’t so much need for them to leave in the first place? My limited understanding is their livelihoods, like farming, is being undermined b/c of things like climate change. What about finding ways to help them develop new sustainable industries, like renewable energy?
It’s easy to conclude that no other President ever has told Latin America “Oh Yeah Come Over #OpenBorders” then when they are at the border he tells then to Don’t Come Over.
That’s literally asking for a Crisis of Historic Proportions yet here we are. You cannot even ask Harris about it because istead of giving a statement of the situation she just laughs. Who’s really taking charge of the nation ? No one really knows.

If Biden don’t fix this problem and send a strong message, ‘this will cause him a second term. Most Americans loves migrants but we need people coming here legally not breaking our laws.. we need a strong message, not message like don’t come now or wait yet.. that’s the wrong message..
How would any country in the world let this many people cross the border unhinged, not to be mean here, if we want to stop them from coming, we would have stopped them from coming many many years ago, figure it out for yourselves, why?
