‘Polling Was Clearly Off, Badly,’ Former Sen. Claire McCaskill Says | TODAY


NBC senior national correspondent Kate Snow tells TODAY that “some places have become even more Trump country” in 2020, like Trumbull County in Ohio. Former Sen. Claire McCaskill says “the polling was clearly off, badly” because Democrats did much worse than expected. Rich Lowry, editor of the conservative National Review, says that a “silent plurality” of Trump supporters that was missed by the polls and the pundits and that Joe Biden was “too passive.” He also calls Trump’s claim of victory in the election “irresponsible.”
