Claire McCaskill says “the polling was clearly off, badly” because Democrats did much worse than expected. Rich Lowry, editor of the conservative National Review, says that a “silent plurality” of Trump supporters that was missed by the polls and the pundits and that Joe Biden was “too passive.” He also calls Trump’s claim of victory in the election “irresponsible.”

Why are we assuming that polling was off? We know that Republicans have been trying to cheat in this election for more than a year. Why not check out the vote more closely before making this assumption? I don’t think that the American people are as stupid at the voting numbers seem to indicate.
