Maybe stop selling crops to China ? Quite a bit of water needed right?
Sometimes it’s better not to know 🙂 But as long as it’s 100% clean and healthy it makes absolute sense.
Now add regenerative energy in form of Solar, Wind, Wave-Energy (I think Tidal-Energy will not work in California) and start desalinization of sea water on top of it. Next: Do something about this insane water-wasting in agriculture in this state! There are techniques which could immensly reduce water wasting.
And maybe, just maybe one day the Colorado can return to it’s bed and reach the Pacific again as he used to.
Great to see the news covering life and death issues in a proactive manner. L.A. was an arid place and then the first Los Angeles Aqueduct was completed in 1913. As originally constructed it consists of six storage reservoirs and 215 mi of conduit. The aqueduct diverts the Owens River into an unlined canal to begin its 233 mi journey south to the Lower San Fernando Reservoir. //  BTW Jacob Soboroff has that John Berman look.
I honestly thought we were always doing this.
Duck hunting
we’ve treat our sewage for water where i live for years
Sorry
ARREST DONALD TRUMP TODAY!
We have abundant water reserve in the wells here
Thankful
These are the things I’m thankful for…
The sweet smell of flowers in springtime,
Beautiful clear blue skies above me,
The feeling of damp grass beneath my bare feet,
The sound of a free running stream,
The warmth of the sun on my cheeks,
The site of a field filled with corn,
The sound of birds singing in the trees,
The taste of fresh picked raspberries,
Crisp, clear autumn mornings,
The sound of leaves crunching beneath my feet,
The site of pumpkins growing in a field,
The first chill of winter in the air,
The site of snowflakes frolicking on the breeze,
Watching children skate on a frozen pond,
And seeing the first robins of spring.
I hope that future generations will still have these things to be thankful for.

Mother Earth’s Gifts
Mother Earth gives her gifts for all to share,
She gives them freely, yet she’s still aware
That things are changing, perhaps for the worse.
How much more can she give if our future is cursed?
It’s way past time to put Mother Earth first,
To clean up the water before we all thirst,
To clean up the air before our lungs sicken,
To renew the soil and feel it quicken.
How long until the point of no return?
How much longer until we all finally learn,
That to this task we all must rise.
And stop abusing Mother Earth before she dies.

Earth is the only planet we know that has life… that alone makes it special, unique and unparalleled! Protect our Earth, it is the only one we have…. God bless the Earth!

While praying I had a revelation, God showed me that we should protect our Earth. We should grateful for what God has created for us. Many of us are so ungrateful for the gifts that God has given to us. We still have a chance to ask for forgiveness.
God Bless the Earth!
TBH I thought this is how water has always been lol wow… wasting water… tisk tisk…
Irvine has been doing this for 10 years. Catch up, LA.
how very white boy of them. hayzues christo!!
sigh.
ok, what if there were places to sink that water into the ground and raise the water table so cool springs came out of the ground again? it would cook the atmosphere which combats global heating, and the ground naturally filters the water without chemicals. they have to run it through the settling ponds to get the poo out, but otherwise nature can handle this job.
They recycle fresh water in other major cities around the world so why not LA?
I used to live in Los Angels. In fact, I was in Valencia. Climate change is a very real thing folks and VERY dangerous!
Let nature and crops drink the sewage water. I don’t think I could. Like ever.
I would rather drink properly disinfected reclaimed water than contaminated water straight from some municipal water companies and private wells.
By bringing in illegals into this country especially California without vetting, I’m afraid California and other states will suffer. Biden, the illegitimate president, will destroy this country!
Where do the solids go?
This is the end of the democratic party !
I got nothing in my brain at lest that is what people always say
