Donald Trump Jr. posted a thirteen-minute-long video attempting to defend the company, but he could have made the case against it worse. The kids will flip like a flapjack
Don Jr admits his father’s contribution to his children’s private school tuition was employment related: “He takes care of his employees.” In other words Don Jr sees a nexus between his status as an employee of his father’s business and his extra unclaimed (and therefore untaxed) revenue compensation of the tuition costs. Trump cannot claim these generous outlays as a tax deduction either, unless he included it as a business expense as well as compensation on Don Jr’s W2. Trump appears to be using profits from his business to pay for employee goodies. Thus he needs to say so on his own tax filings of employee W2 earnings. He needs to issue a true statement to the IRS showing that as compensation to an employee, and he needs to document that extra compensation on his company statements.
Otherwise, he is just giving a gift and the totality of the gift may exceed any automatic tax exemptions for gifts.
This is not a witch hunt. This is simply a case of applying to Trump and his family and friends the same tax laws that are applied to everyone else.
Question: Was any action of Ivanka’s special project of child care for working parents asking to have private school tuition made into an unlimited tax exemption?
Another question: are we seeing a preview of a new Trump narrative twist? First there is a suggestion that the AG is trying to get Trump employees to “lie” by accusing them of something. This looks like a trial balloon to see who falls for that gimmick. Second twist is painting Trump as just a real good guy who likes to do nice things for kids. His willingness to do it for HIS kids but to order the separation of babies from helpless refugees proves what kind of a man Trump is. For his own well being anything is allowed. For the rest of us it’s the same old state Republican marching order: “Fend for yourself! “
Trump placed his goons in key places in the FEDERAL government for this day!! That’s why they haven’t filed charges!!!

Those two are partners in crime. They did those crimes together. There isn’t much he could flip on. The “deal” includes total cooperation and there are too many crimes total cooperation would uncover that he would need total immunity to even consider flipping. Don’t see that happening.

As said , Trump will be doing everything for him if CFO doesn’t flip. Can Trump be trusted, what does Trump’s whole life record of payment to claint says ? Did he pay juliani and others recently? Why should CFO take risk of his imprisonment, loss of property, wealth when he can save every thing he saved in last 50 yrs. Let Trump handle his case and you enjoy rest few years of your life.

The only way Allen may ever spill the beans is if they go after his kids and their involvement in that scheme. Otherwise it’s not going to happen . The guy dedicated his life to the Trumps so he will take him much more than a potential 5 year in home arrest to speak out.
