That’s some pretty weak analysis. So because we didn’t hit a binary point and shift completely to autocracy, the systems held? I’m sure Putin looks at his efforts in 2016, and is pretty satisfied with how much chaos happened in the last four years, and didn’t need us to completely destabilize or fall into a third-world status to feel successful. Consider how far the right has drifted, or that the AG was normalized to be a defender of the Executive rather than the people, or that conspiracies got closer to equal footing with facts, or how the Republican party drifted away from its principles and toward defending autocratic behaviors from the Executive, or how the Republican party can openly not accept the results of an election, or how Fox News is now not right-leaning enough and Newsmax and OANN are now contending for viewership. And on and on.
Our foundations aren’t just here one minute and gone the next. They crack and crumble until they’re eroded to something that can no longer sustain our society. Take these last 4 years with alarming seriousness! Things need to change or there will be further detrimental consequences for our country.

I’ve NEVER seen someone who “claims” to “always” win be such a loser over and over and over and add 50 court cases LOST to that. LOL…he was honest about one thing…that he IS a “sore loser”. However, he forgot to tell people that he apparently LIKES to make sure he loses over 50 times on the same freaking issue. “No fraud” is what his attorneys say in court. There should be sanctions for them bringing such frivilous claims. Remember he was saying that this would drag on for YEARS. He didn’t realize that elections have time frames and cases for those elections MUST be brought and litigated quickly to stem the tide of doubt. LOL…I guess his lawyers didn’t know that.
They were planning on using the Army to attempt a “coup” with the military. It’s NOT that hard to see, especially for those of us actually paying attention and who care about our country as a whole. All branches and every member of the military take an oath to the Constitution and to protect the country NOT to a person or a party, which come and go. mrflynnie seems to have long ago forgotten…no disregarded his oath because President Obama FIRED him…so he decided to betray his oath over a “personal” issue. He was deemed likely to share classified information for a price to advesaries so his access to “intelligence” was stiffled. I’d say we’re lucky it was.

I felt Obama was too soft, SOoo I voted for trump in 2015 (Nov ) , thinking we would have a president, not soft,. Boy, I didn’t expect this ! However in retrospect, that’s why Biden got elected. I had hoped Bernie to get the nomination, but Biden is better than the empty tomato can I would have voted for over trump . How many more people preferred anything over “45” ?
