Andrew Weissmann, former lead prosecutor for Robert Mueller, talks with Rachel Maddow about how pardoned individuals can be compelled to testify where the Fifth Amendment no longer applies, which could mean people like Roger Stone and Paul Manafort being called to testify if prosecutors pursue a case against Donald Trump. How Trump’s Pardons Of Russia Figures Could Backfire If He Is Prosecuted | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC
Always bits and pieces from interviews and reports on news from msnbc on YouTube!
Please give us the longer interviews!
Russian figures? You mean those arrested by Mueller stemming from “crimes” committed that nothing to do with Russia? You guys are the enemy of the state. Pure trash
sadly he wont be prosecuted ,it´s in no ones interest to prosecute a president who got 45% of the votes .Case would have to be air tight . Nobody can tell what the consequences would be with his minions. Justice is not blind,it´s politics at times
Lolololol just over here still praying for all that Russia Hysteria to mean SOMETHING for Maddow
Trump is so disgusting
So there all out jail so when it’s time to press charges against trump there all witnesses the courts can use. Time to send out the subpoenas
Keywords being “if you have an aggressive new attorney general in place in the Biden administration”. The thing is Biden is already saying that he wants to forgive and forget and move on and be bi-partisan, and “heal” the nation, and not have investigations overshadowing his administration.
Basically, that means that he does not believe in accountability.
We should be glad Trump is not pardoning every dispicable person incarcerated. He has crossed the line into insanity. His malice is unprecedented.
The US system is so broken… Trump’s self-pardon “problem” is simple: Trump suffers “undisclosed complications” from Covid. Trump let’s Pence take over, in accordance with Section 3 of the 25th Ammendment. Pence pardons Trump. Trump has a “miraculous” recovery and reclaims the cesspool (formerly known as, “the swamp”). Easy peasy!
Trump hasn’t pardoned Pompao yet. He will be prosecuted for conspiracy to commit murder. He was in the room with Parnes when Trump ordered ” Take her out” referring to the Ukraine ambassador. In my opinion
Its not if …. its when…
With trump there’s ALWAYS a quid pro quo.
Criminal president!
I wonder about all the threats and black mailing his team made to all the innocent people involved, then he talks as if the investigation was fair and legit. Who said angry lawyers driven by people full of hate can do justice!?

Sedition is the crime of revolting or inciting revolt against government. However, because of the broad protection of free speech under the First Amendment, prosecutions for sedition are rare. Nevertheless, sedition remains a crime in the United States under 18 U.S.C.A. § 2384 (2000), a federal statute that punishes seditious conspiracy, and 18 U.S.C.A. § 2385 (2000), which outlaws advocating the overthrow of the federal government by force. Generally, a person may be punished for sedition only when he or she makes statements that create a Clear and Present Danger to rights that the government may lawfully protect (schenck v. united states, 249 U.S. 47, 39 S. Ct. 247, 63 L. Ed. 470 [1919]).
CHINA INFESTED IN AMERICA’S VAGINA.
You yanks better do something about this,or take the backseat for a decade or two
“…except in cases of Impeachment”.
If Biden doesn’t go after Trump with his AG, man he will come under big fire from the voters. Big Facts
Next AG must be aggresive, competent and determined to reveal the truth about trump and Russia.
Youre correct. Oblame-o did pardon more people. But do you know how many? 10? 20? MORE FAKE NEWS.
