The suspected Russian hacking campaign that has torn through the U.S. government zeroed in on more than 40 organizations, Microsoft’s president said Thursday. The campaign, which U.S. officials believe is the work of Russian intelligence, began at least as early as March. Aired on 12/18/2020.

Sorry, this always sounds like a one-way street. State-sponsored hackers attack the US. Why doesn’t the government create a state-sponsored cyber group and attack the attackers? Wouldn’t that at least put a “we’ll do the same to you” buffer on future attacks? I have no expertise here.

It’s not difficult to believe Trump used his exit as POTUS to get even for his second term loss. You can’t make this up. His strategies to ‘get even’ are mounting. You want to put a stop to all of this sabotage, put a freeze on Trump’s bank accounts. It’s done all the time by ‘hate groups’ outside our nation who attack our nation through means of cyberattacks. Trump knows who is the culprit. Does everyone realize Trump has had inside information on all national security infrastructure? Read comments below, not everyone is pulling this theory out of a hat. I want to know who is HEAD OF NATIONAL SECURITY? Someone Trump put in the job? The National Security Advisor is appointed by the POTUS and does not need confirmation. What else could be the explanation for the ‘free-for-all’ attempt on our national security? The Agency itself is allowing these cyber attacks just to increase their budget?
