The National Guard was not on standby because Trump was working for the insurrectionists. Trump had already cut Homeland Security staffing to help the enemy. I would bet Trump was involved in cutting the Capital Police force level, All signs point to Trump was carrying out a coup.

PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE, NBC – Do NOT refer to generals by the number of stars they have. The 5 grades of general, from lowest to highest rank, are: Brigadier General, Major General, Lieutenant General, and General in the Army; General of the Army is 5 stars, reserved for war-time, and rare. They have a rank by which they are called – not by how many stars they have. This is so basic, it is unbelievable that a global news network can get straight, something that is so simple and obvious.
You call that a national disgrace, attack to democracy, and search for those participating in these riots. I can feel and understand your anger. On top of that, there are five lives lost because of what? I wonder. This happened in one day and the whole country can’t wait to condemn those involved, including Donald Trump.
Let take a look at another scenario. How about the lives and daily order are continuously being turned upside down daily,, public facilities are vandalized and destroyed all the time, mobs are vandalizing the council chamber building, law and order policeman are being attacked, innocent people being tied up and the life being treated. This, yes, this happened not just for one day, but for more than a year. All these terrorist acts were supported, funded and orchestrated with outside backings including USA., and they encouraged those young people TO CARRY OUT ALL THESE HEINOUS CRIMES.

A national disgrace is when, @ the behest of George Bush, a 4-star general lies about those pesky WMD’s to the U.N. & becomes a key player in a cabal that deliberately led us into an all out war in Iraq. Ultimately it was a war that cost thousands of American lives, billions of taxpayer dollars & untold numbers of Iraqi civilians killed, maimed or disfigured. Same with Afghanistan; this officer is not a nice guy.

So why is donald trump free? I suppose there is no spokesperson to supersede the president. Who is there to answer for America’s criminal leader? Are they all afraid? Someone must have the balls to save their country from a madman leading his mob of supporters. That’s what they are. A mob. He must be proud of his accomplishments especially having been responsible for people being killed. Wow, this is very hard to deal with. The strongest man in the free world is a madman inciting violence against his own country and no one is doing a thing about it. I guess trump fired all the ones with enough guts to stand up to this crap. Is that the case? Did he systematically destroy any possible leadership against him. Maybe that’s what some of the surprise firings were about. And he put in as many judges as he could in the Supreme Court so he can fight all his crimes to the highest court, all the time orchestrating a coup. It looks like he is in it all the way. Anyone else would have backed off a long time ago. Trump continues to fight with anything he can which has become illegal and deadly. But america seems to be without leadership under trump. Incredible how he did it.
The plan was to give the rioters plenty of time to carry put their plan of getting ahold of the VP and hanging him and taking out as many of the Congress members as possible. It was coordinated. Planned and law enforcement was not ramped up on purpose. This was a planned coup.
