The Democrats in Congress tried to impeach him 2 years ago but it was the Republicans in the Senate who blocked Removing him from office so we can blame the Republicans they created this monster
MAGA zombies. Oh it’s real. There’s no reasoning with those brain washed folks.
Will we come through it? If the Republican Party remains in existence, can we have a functioning democracy? If Trump remains free to incite violence, can we ever feel safe? Can we avoid domestic terrorism becoming extremely rampant? If we let this slide, not only is that an appalling failure of justice, but they will take it as permission to go further next time. If Trump is behind bars, will they accept that, no matter how clear the evidence of his many wrongdoings?
How do we have a functioning democracy; a functioning *society;* if almost half the country are immune to truth and reason; if they exist in a deranged alternate reality?
We have to somehow cure those tragic people in order to come through this. We have to punish the politicians who brought us here to have faith in justice and democracy. We have to rework the laws to deal with echo chambers, fake news, and bald-faced lies by our public servants and leaders.
It’s a big job, to put it mildly. If we cannot achieve it, the country will tear itself apart.
All we are doing is talk talk . Please look for them and lock them up.. Man and woman because if you don’t they will doit again.. My God I never see anything like this before.. The next thing the domesticated government have to do is keep a close I on Donald trump.. With the phone call them that’s he make and the people them he talk to… It’s very important. Thank you..

I am sorry, but Congress does not control the Capitol police. The Executive branch does, and how was responsible for that? Trump. And GOP Governors were trying to send their NG in, and were barred from doing so.
If my ‘house’ were broken into, someone died, it would be surrounded by crime scene tape, evidence collected, area secured. Clearly, Capital Police and all branches of government AKA Establishment clearly dont think ‘a crime was committed’
Trump planned this so there would be no protection by troops.

Sorry but this kind of thinking has got to stop. What needs to happen is Trump’s removal but because of politics this won’t be done so we are instead told it’s better to wait it out. 4 years of waiting it out and what we got was an attempted coup and nothing should make us think that it’s over and things will eventually get better.
Regarding the riots: The Trump phenomenon is just a symptom of our government’s gross negligence toward the working class the last 12 years. Trump is not the problem, contrary to the denial narrative spouted by cnn and the like. What about the violence of abandoning the people you’re supposed to represent? Why are you even surprised at these events?
Ask a soldier if you want common sense? He’s an exceptional man.
Take the money trump got from his supporters and rebuild the hill and take about 10 millions to the family of the officer they killed and see how bad he really feels

I really wish Gen Powell would have been our first black president. I normally do not support giving the military too much power, but I truly believe this man understands enough that he would have been balanced in his decision making.
