Capitol Rioters Cleaving To World Dr. King Gave His Life To Dismantle: Glaude | Morning Joe | MSNBC
the “insurgency” proved that police CAN de-escalate violence, if they choose to.
patrol officers should not be allowed to drive around looking for a fight.
armed backup can be called in, but patrol officers should be looking to improve situations, not make them a bloody mess.
talk about how they can de-escalate violence, cuz they proved it.
disarm institutionalized racism.
don’t let armed officers drive around looking for fights.
Its the far rights last gasp. Unless they succeed. Then all bets are off.
How do you understand how slave holders could create a vision for America that was beyond their own actions? Look no further than the Bible. Those following Christ were instructed to be good at what ever life tests you come up against. Even if you were a servant, be a good servant, and not just where your master could see you, but even when no one could see you. Why? Because Jesus and His Apostles came to understand the purpose of life, and why we were here. There are many souls who come here and are repaying their debts to mankind, but there are also those who come here to allow others to learn from them. By giving mankind every opportunity to choose the higher path. Sadly, often they fail to do so. There are many in history that understood the purpose of life, and the Destiny of America, but knew that mankind as a whole was not yet evolved enough to understand the truth they were given. It was the same with Jesus and His teachings, as well as many other spiritual leaders. Those leaders were shown God’s Truth, and in no way could pass that understanding on to their fellow man, for it is a gift given to those who obey the Laws of the One, the Creator, God. It is a natural consequence of obeying Universal Laws. But unable to pass on such an understanding, they attempted to point the way. And those with ears would hear, and those with eyes could see. It is a natural evolution of mankind. The most important thing to remember, we can not go backwards. If we do so, and we begin to spiral downwards, the Generation must come to an end, and the harvest will begin. It need to be, for a Generation can go on indefinately, so that all mankind might gain mastery over their lower selves, and gain their freedom from the flesh. Martin Luther King Jr. was one of these great men. He was shown the future of America and Humanity. His very words still inspire the spirits in mankind to be moved, and he continues to make powerful change in the world. When he was alive and teaching, he could have said so much more, but he understood that mankind were not evolved enough to hear, and so he only alluded to the glory that was yet to be. So try not to look at it as hyprocisy, but as the evolution of mankind. If these great men lived as they were taught, among the less spiritually evolved, they, like Jesus, would be put to death. And what good they did would never have come to fruition. You also have these very souls who were what many would call ahead of their time, battling with their own outer forms. That is not a crime, it is normal, and the purpose of life. For if they were perfect, they would not have any need of being here on the earth. Though there are a few souls that come here purely for the sake of mankind and the evolution of mankind. Jesus was one of those souls. Joe, I attempt to tell mankind all the time about the futility of wars and hatred. Trying to explain how you must become that which you judged less than, or inferior to you. Just because mankind believes it not, or can not forsee how that could be true, matters not. It is a Universal Law, and immutable. So much suffering comes as mankind attempts to learn their lessons. So much unnecessarry suffering. But I tell you, the soul does not mind that challenge. It is an honor and a privilege do live in the physical form. To be given, as a soul, the opportunity to overcome the flesh is a gift. And the day when mankind understands what true Freedom is, and sees it through the eyes of their soul, and not their physical forms, will be the day they cease wars, and murdering their fellow man. And begins to give them a hand up, and desires to serve their fellow man. Just as Jesus , and other great Spiritaul Teachers/Leaders have done before them.
Let’s just be really honest….black people have been holding us up and saving our behinds since the beginning. GIVE BACK! Educate yourself, listen, and learn to share the world. It’s not hard….my 4 yr old can do it…so can you.
The Presidential post alone has too much ultimate power for supporting a democracy.
Allowing a president’s personnel comments to be unfiltered and unaccountable when lies are spread to racialize people.
Playing on their fears and ignorance whilst smearing others to incite violence with racist bigotry.
Having the power to corrupt and defraud people although also being involved in criminal acts and breaking the law.
Congress needs to be accountable for their action or non-action in their willingness to support democracy.
Here we have the 2nd amendment on trial as guns on the street just support radicalized people.
Republican’s that backed Trump continued to support the doubts on the election result including the presidents lies.
When clearly republicans attempted a coup to overturn a democratic election result.
Convictions of accountable crimes must enforce the rule of law and to show one one is above it.
Not only cleaving it. They’re quoting him while they do it
I broadly agree with most of this. But I object to the characterisation of Europe as a white continent. Spain, Italy and Greece are examples of non-caucasian nations. Spain was a nation where Christians and African Muslims lived together for many hundreds of years. If it comes to it, there were Arabic Muslims and free black people living in England during the sixteenth century. The vulgar, putrid spectre of white supremacy has undoubtedly risen its foul head in European history. Undoubtedly. In many European nations, white privilege has exists and still exists. But to pretend that America’s foundation of white supremacy is comparable to a historically diverse Europe makes about as much sense as a nation calling itself the land of the free and then having a healthcare system which effectively indentures workers to their employer.
So close. Yet so far!!!!!!!!!
I am a white man who wants to make the same speech found here in this video. Marry Ann Shadd a beautiful woman who taught black children to read, escape to Canada, and was the not only the first black author in Canada, she was the first woman author in Canada.
Pretty much.
The tranquil color proximately appear because cherry legally exist amongst a material limit. fluttering, blushing back
On the solemn day we remember Martin Luther King. We remember his inspiration and his powerful speeches.
During this time we must examine our own feelings concerning racism. I have noted much more attention on social media from people making racist statements and willing to denigrate an entire race of people.
We can go to YouTube or obtain a transcript of MLK’s “I have a dream speech “in which he dreamed of a day that people are judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.
We should hold fast to these ideals and totally reject the notion of advancing one race over another.
You have a sigh (or a yawn) from a female 3:31 maybe you should remove that before you upload, otherwise it can be interpreted badly… 🙂 @MSNBC
Black woman always save this racist country. Ironic indeed.
Today America arises afresh and excited. For a new leader with morality courage wisdom compassion honor and respect has arisen to lead our country into a bigger and better future. We welcome President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris as America’s elected leaders. May all that they do be excellent. Shalom.
Black women saving America…again!
“Cleaving” or “Clinging?”
Cleaving?
White people used to be black, then they moved to Europe and became white.
Many people tend to forget that there were a great number of Blacks from the south back then that DID NOT want to be integrated, they said that it would cause too much friction and unneccessary violence, which it did, many blacks had their own businesses back then their own salons, Barbers , businesses, restaurants ect…… and felt that they did not need to be integrated….and that they did not need unnecessary problems….which Martin Luther King brought on with his movement, there were many blacks that did not approve of his goals.
MLK preached non-violence, yet he was shot dead. Where is the next “MLK” to embrace non-violence, instead of gun-violence?
Trump attempted to Rob the bank of Democracy and now the do not want prosecute a bank robber!Just because you weren’t successful does not mean you where not involved in a Robbery!
He was just getting to the good part. “THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER GOTTEN THE PERMITS” Thats right, the PERMITS. Some people don’t know you have to have permits to protest legally. *shrugs*
