Barrett’s useless, intellectually lazy. The Constitution was written to enforce the power of landed white males. It is an extremely imperfect document, and even more difficult to change, PRECISELY to ensure that landed white males, always the minority, keep their power.
Yet here’s Barrett, prattling on with her “balls and strikes” attitude, conveniently forgetting that in the eyes of the Founders, she was little more than a slave and pretty much some man’s property. That it took nearly 200 years for a woman to be considered “worthy” of a SCOTUS job, and many men and women who had to battle the entrenched powers that be, that is, Conservatives, to get to this point?
Justice Ginsberg, you did the world a huge disservice by letting your pride get in the way of your intellect, hanging on too long, and now we get THIS, this Conservative automaton.

She will use all manner of sophistry and logical contortions to tie the rejection of the ACA to her ideological biases, along with the rest of the republican appointed lunatics sitting on the bench of the Supreme Court, claiming access to affordable health care is “unconstitutional” in the same way men o’ god used the bible to justify slavery. And the net-net is 20 million(!) will lose the health insurance they pay out-of-pocket for, 120 million(!) Americans with preexisting conditions — like kids with cancer, will not be able to find affordable coverage. The Rs have neither a plan, nor interest in developing a replacement for ACA after 10 years. Meanwhile, they have the best health coverage available at tax payer expense, as they rail about “socialized medicine” and a president who got $100,000 of the best care including experimental treatments for COVID, having contributed $750 to the federal till over the last 15 years despite boasting of being a purported “billionaire”.
