Biden Committed To $15 Minimum Wage, Says Head Of WH National Economic Council | Morning Joe | MSNBC
Sergeant Robert justin alford green at nellis AFB and renato Santiago Nelson where is my daughter jahmela and her four children.
“Too much relief” is laughable right now. People are getting kicked out of their homes, not able to buy food and other necessities, but Senators have plenty of cash to have a last minute trip to Cancun. If Senators think Americans can live off $10-$11 an hour, then they can live on those wages and let us know how easy life is for them.
..This is happening in the world is another mental, social and economic aggression through LINGUISTIC ENGINEERING to impose the DICTATORSHIP OF THE 2030 AGENDA, the most perverse genocidal plan in the history of earthly existence, and the most perverse thing is that those who they will execute this supposed AGENDA will be the same human beings; that, trapped in the linguistic deceptions of the supposed health emergency and the lethal vaccination, they accept and yield their will to the CO-V-I-D-19 plan…. ONLY WITH A MASSIVE AWAKENING WILL WE PREVENT THEY CONTINUE GETTING SICK WITH OUR OWN LANGUAGE… !! r-evolucion-revelacion.es/pandemia-y-maldiccion/
We bail out the banks. For us ? Nothing… gee thanks.
First job out of college w a biz degree in economics paid $14.72/hr and I got 50 hours a week. Made like $700. How come they get to skip that struggle?
You’re worried about inflation? That’s the simplest of the implications. Jobless claims will triple, the govt will make more payments and business will leave to China. Like they want, as it is becoming very clear
I believe it too it will be forgotten like it never existed just one more lie being told and exercised to the American people why do we need a president if they can’t make final decisions without the senate approval
Fire the parliamentarian like Republicans did in 2000 when they didn’t like his/her decision and get rid of the filibuster! Dems need to learn to play as seriously as republicans or we’ll be forced to either replace all corporate Dems or start a new party that will.
Hasn’t Manchin already said he doesn’t support raising the minimum wage to $15? Therefore, a $15 minimum wage is not going to happen. Unless the Democrats think they can get Republican votes. If they do, then good luck!
“lobbyists told me to vote against it”- Republican politicians, where it pays to be a mindless puppet.
“what they said”- Republican voters, where parroting republican politicians means to vote against your own self interests
So pass the $15/hr minimum wage. The country has your back, Dems
America wants the shot in their income first. Then the shot in the arm. No relief check and 15.00 wage increase….we don’t want the shots.
Well if Biden is for it go for it….. increase taxes back on the wealthy while you’re at it.
No, Biden is not committed to a $15 minimum wage. Actions speak louder than words.
Let’s give Manchin & Sinema what they want… let’s give everyone $15 minimum wage EXCEPT for Arizona & WestVirginia. Then let these two morons go back to their states & “brag” about how they got their constituents less than everyone else. Let’s see how that goes.
Bernie should immediately put that bill forward & see them turn into jellies.
Why don’t they do like they said and raise it but, slowly like start with $10 or let the states decide some states people simply make more money doing the same jobs. One of the actual problems is that childcare costs more than people are making. I was looking into childcare 10 yrs ago and these people wanted $15-20 dollars an hour. So I chose to stay home instead. I’ll raise my own kid for that much thanks anyway.
They act like the parliamentarian “ruling” prevents them from raising the min. wage. It’s just an opinion; they don’t have to go by it. If the dems have the votes, just pass it and quit dragging their feet and coming up with bs excuses.
You guys are in for a rude awakening 10 million unemployed unfortunately Corporate America is seeing how they can survive or they are doing just fine with the employees they have y’all better wake up there’s a lot of people who lost their jobs that aren’t going to get them back because Corporate America is finding out that they can do just fine without them
While $15.00 an hour is great, I believe it’s too much all at once for business’s to pay right now. This raise should come in stages for this reason and would give small business more time to recover.
Summary of The Prince by Machiavelli:
When private citizens become rulers through the favor of their fellow citizens, these may be called presidents. One can reach this position through the favor of either the common citizens or the elite, because the two classes are found in every country. The Elite want only to oppress the people, and the people want only to avoid oppression. From these opposing impulses can come three results: a Dictatorship, a Republic, or Anarchy. When the elite feel pressure from the people, they try to make one of their own the president in order to protect their privileges. When the people feel they cannot resist the elite, they try to make a fellow citizen president in order to protect their rights. You can never satisfy the elite by acting honorably, but you can satisfy the people.
Regardless of how a president comes to power, he should make every effort to win the good will of the people, or in times of trouble, he will have no hope. A president must not delude himself about the reliability of the people, but nonetheless, a president who makes good preparations and knows how to command will never be betrayed by them. A wise ruler will contrive to keep all his citizens dependent on him and on the state, and then he will be able to trust them. This was written in the 1500s…

hey, somebody tell Biden the minimum livable wage in 2021 is no longer $15/hr if they want a roof and a place to sleep after work …after taxes. $24/hr is the current rate with the constant increase in rent. You just have to make sure companies can afford the “extra” such as Amazon. End this slavery once and for all. If politicians cut their vacation time to Cancun, people would stay out of slavery.
Never happen poor will always be poor corporations want it that way
Apparently Kamala Harris can overrule the stop put on the minimum wage part by the Parliamentarian. So what’s the problem? Get on with it!
$1.7 trillion for a failed F-35 was okay–and it sure did boost the economy, didn’t it? For Lockheed Martin maybe.
