Based on all the posts I have read on liberal media over the past year concerning “racial inequality” and “racial injustice”, it would seem that America is stuck in the same time as when Joe Biden’s close friend, Robert Byrd, was Exaulted Cyclops of the KKK and that all the efforts of MLK and since have all been for NOTHING! Now, we are to believe that this old white guy with dementia, who has been in Washington politics for 47 YEARS, is going to bring our country out of our ‘dark days’ of “racial injustice” that Obama did nothing for. At least we know he can still read someone else’s words! Shout out to Aricept! I have to believe that our society has advanced FAR from those times when the KKK was the ‘enforcement arm’ of the Democrat Party? With Black CEOs, Black leaders, thousands of Black millionaires and having had a Black President, I believe the liberal claims are quite inaccurate and continue to be used for self-serving purposes. Think For Yourselves!
Afterthought: Comments stating that all is forgiven because Byrd apologized are the MOST hollow of all!! I bet my African American friends do not see it that way AND I know that if Byrd was a Republican, it would not matter how many times he apologized or did good works or made reparations!!

I’m glad that we finally have it in ministration which is showing some sanity.
I feel though that we need something done that is more permanent than executive orders. Just look how easily undone is the previous administration‘s executive orders.
Things like the equality act should be passed along with other non-discrimination laws.

The Problem with Equity (Equality of Outcome)

Here is the paradox of equity: the state must treat individuals unequally in order to enforce equality of outcome. However, with equality of opportunity, each individual is granted an equal opportunity to pursue their own unequal outcomes. Historically speaking, equal opportunity results in the liberty of the individual, while equal outcomes results in tyranny, genocide, and the enslavement of the individual.
Yes, the State must use force to ensure the compliance of equity, which violates the natural rights of individuals to freely pursue their own personal development and goals.
Here are some notes I took from watching Jonathan Haidt’s first presentation linked below:
Correlation does not imply causation.
In statistics, many statistical tests calculate correlations between variables and when two variables are found to be correlated, it is tempting to assume that this shows that one variable causes the other. That “correlation proves causation,” is considered a questionable cause logical fallacy when two events occurring together are taken to have established a cause-and-effect relationship. ~Wikipedia
Many social justice warriors keep making the questionable cause logical fallacy, as they assume that since there is a statistical disparity between the rates of men and women, various ethnic groups and whites, and other groups in relationship to whatever statistics they are looking at, that the disparity must be correlated to disparate treatment.
When analyzing statistics, and a disparity is noticed, a good question to ask is “what is the third variable causing the disparity between two correlating statistics?” This will assist in finding the actual cause, otherwise it is confirmation bias, which is attempting to find or produce evidence for a preconceived bias.

Said another way, “inequality of outcome does not imply exploitation”, because possible variables need to be discovered and considered. Social justice implies disparate treatment, but modern social justice warriors fight against disparate outcomes and not against disparate treatment.

My Chinese friend’s son graduated high school here and was very popular , very Americanized and excellent English. He went off to college at the start of tRump’s second year in office. He experienced such hateful xenophobia that he returned to China to live with his grandmother and finish college. My friend is broken hearted and now with no family here although we do keep in touch by video chats. She is very stoic during the exchange ( for his sake ) but cries after.
It does sound good hearing a well spoke president, but I still see makeup on a pig, poverty is poverty, and actions speak louder than words. So far I’m not seeing anything different. Trump just couldn’t stick to the teleprompter, Joe Biden can. Get to work.
The GDP of africa is 2.25 trillion. The welfare state has paid blacks $22.3 trillion since 1955. 10x the value of africa. Diversity is our strength!
It seemed obvious to me that Biden was reading a teleprompter. You can see his eyes looking to the left of the screen and him stumbling in the words being read. While I do not doubt that they reflect his genuine beliefs, they come across not being so.
Accountability, justice, truth and performance relating to inequality and inequity are all important for unity. God bless America.
