Neoliberal is a widely misunderstood term. It denotes an economic philosophy promoting liberal markets (free from govt. interference), without reference at all to political bent. It does not mean a “new (neo) kind of liberal,” i. e. the modern Democratic Party politician who is essentially a moderate Republican. The Neoliberal Period was initiated by arch-right wingers Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher in the early 80s. When people such as Noam Chomsky speak of the “neoliberal plague,” they are not commenting on the Democratic Party’s shift to the right, but rather the global adoption of neoliberal economic principles.
It needs to be recognized that media has become part of the education system and that people on the right have used disinformation to program and radicalize people into doing the insane. This is psychological warfare being waged on a peacetime civilian population. The Fairness doctrine must be reinstated and applied to all speakers on public interest. All public interest discussions must be forced to be fair and balanced and use facts, or things will only get worse. The truth ought to be good enough.

It’s almost like a certain Jewish independent Senator was warning about how economic disparities were coming from multinational corporations corrupting our government officials and the 1% hoarding unimaginable wealth, and how we should have Medicare for all (said before we fell into this pandemic), and again and again telling us about how this all feeds into white animosity for the “other”, and part of why racial injustice has been a long-standing wound that we still haven’t addressed in this country…
But the media refused to give him any airtime, both major political parties used scare tactics to say we’d dissolve into a third world country if his policies were implemented, and then all the Democrats dropped out to back Biden (who I still voted for)… It’s crazy, isn’t it?
The Republicans used conspiracy theories since the 90s to win elections. The reason Trump is so popular is because he is the first Republican politician that actually believes these theories and it makes him seem more honest to them.
Boy would i love an expert to review the mannerisms and facial expressions of these mainstream reporters.

No one should pretend the right doesn’t know history and movement theory. Relentless lying works as grift and spectacle, sure. Careers and fortunes are made. But the central project is to make evidence meaningless, because that allows the claims of power, and the claims which it uses to divide and damage institutions, to be uncontested, incontestable. This is how fascism operates andnit is not contained within the persons of Hawley Cruz and Trump, it is a larger alliance of schemes for power. We have to name it, shame it, disclaim it, and evict it from the acceptable bounds of political discourse. It should be like saying that non believers should be flayed to say that America is a white Christian nation. Because for one thing… it is not. And that’s a good thing.

The Republican Congressional leaders now say that any action against Trump or them now would cause more division, it would now promote more damage to our nation. I strongly & respectfully DISAGREE, if we continue to try & act like the president & these professional criminal Congressional leaders didn’t commit sedition & other crimes, we allow the poison of INSURRECTION to fester & grow; the more we try to ignore this and say we’ll deal with this later, people see how unfair our JUSTICE system is, how corrupt our GOVERNMENT is and that can’t possibly be good for THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. We the people continue to see very little being done to address the people we know took part in sedition of of our Capitol, of our Country, we still see those Congressional leaders & the president operate as though they did nothing wrong & they have others in Congress who are ducking & hiding & trying to act like nothing has happened & many refuse to take a position on these people & the lies, deceptions & their unbelievable crimes.
You Congress people, I believe “almost all of you”, have proven to THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA & TO THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, you are selfish, you are corrupt, you, just like Donald Trump are dangerous to the WELL-BEING of our DEMOCRACY, to our REPUBLIC and it must be known, since our goverment leadership include so many criminal & self-serving people, our country will, more than likely, grow in it’s DIVISION and the worse of us will point to our leaders to justify our own depraved condition. WOW, I USED TO BE A REPUBLICAN, but awhile after Trump became president, I realized, the REPUBLICAN PARTY, the leaders of this party did not represent me at all, I saw “FAKE” public servants, they are self servants & they have to tow the line of other higher up, unrighteous leaders, agenda & president, they have to play along to get along so they can keep & grow their influence & power in their party, “NO MATTER THE COST”, that’s why I changed my party to “NO PARTY AFFILIATION”, the party systems promoted division & tribalism & GREEDY FOR MORE POWER & INFLUENCE & MORE MONEY; TRUTH BE TOLD, there are professional criminals on both sides; but my former REPUBLICAN PARTY has cornered the market on how to manipulate, trick, hinder & corrupt the good workings of our CONGRESSIONAL SYSTEM, it’s CUNNING, fun & games & DRIVE for POWER at THE PEOPLE’S EXPENSE.
